DIY-Nano?

People all over the world are hoping that various open source movements will allow the networked intelligence of the human race to accelerate us into the singularity. But did you know that even Nanotech has an open source community?

DC DIYbio - Beginning TweetUp

From Jim H of the Lava-Amp project we hear that DC is also starting to get a ball rolling. I imagine that if needed either community could partake in more public discussions regarding policy makers.
